"Opinion: My family personally has had a bad experience when losing our dog. They were disrespectful and not compassionate. Since then I have heard many others tell sad and disappointing stories. Then again recently my family experienced very insensitive support from the on call emergency vet while the dog was passing. We called looking for guidance, but instead experienced the person heavy breathing annoyed that he was awake. While the dog was clearly struggling to pass peacefully, we also had to deal with the inconsiderate vet that is supposed to have a passion for helping animals. I hope that Matt Raisbeck seeks a different line of work after how he handled the situation. Anyone who can act that way clearly doesn’t have a love for pets that I would trust to care for my animals."
