    "Opinion: When my mother recently passed away I was unprepared. Rachel at Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives was amazing and walked me through the process with such loving care, I will never forget her. We chose a Green Burial which was beautiful and my mom looked so lovely and natural. It$0027s hard to say goodbye to a loved one, but knowing she was cared for by Rachel brought much peace.     "Opinion: They were selected by someone other than us and I would NEVER recommend them. They started polite but they were not at all trauma informed. For example, First, I told them I wanted the wedding ring etc. included when she was cremated, I told them this several times. I was NEVER told that they wouldn$0027t/couldn$0027t do that. It turned out that they didn$0027t do it, and more importantly they didn$0027t tell me ahead of time that they were not going to do it, so some stranger took off her wedding ring etc. without our permission or knowledge. IF they had bothered to tell us that they wouldn$0027t/couldn$0027t include the wedding ring in the cremation then we would have had a loved one take it off of her not some random stranger. I am still Very upset about this."
