"Opinion: I wish integrity and accountability meant something within this department. I would hope my tax dollars would be spent properly training staff, though it’s not, can anyone get on the same page? I’d think in the few hours they are open daily you would actually be able to reach an individual outside the useless call office- no one bothers to answer. Deputies do not return calls. Reception is clueless. They blame every thing on USPS, so deliver any complaints in person and remember the name of the officer you spoke with or you’ll have to start the process from the beginning because they act like you never called in to begin with. Most importantly if you don’t stay on top of them…… you’ll get zero results. They also lie and say they dropped off citations but if you don’t get court documents in the mail; they didn’t do their end of the job they just told you it was taken care of so you stop calling. Be diligent when dealing with these people. Bozarth, Case, Webb."

"Opinion: Decided they don$0027t want to deal with barking dog complaints, and made it more difficult to file. By doing so now the neglected dogs next door will be locked outside in the scorching sun and below winter temps more often. Since animal services does not care about neglected animals I will be writing the denver post and 2 animal rights activist groups about this. It$0027s sad really. These poor dogs locked out for hours on end in extreme temperatures while the owners ignore it."
