"Opinion: My uncle passed away on the 11th of September. He was transported to the funeral home. By the 13th the man at the funeral home was threatening my other uncle with a lawsuit for funds as the next of kin after refusing to allow him to move the body to another crematory that was more economical for the family. The funeral home director did this because he was considering the children to be the next of kin, which is fine. But he can’t have it both ways. He can’t refuse to give my uncle a say in what is happening with his brothers body and then say he is going to sue him when the children decide they don’t want anything to do with it two days later."
