"Opinion: We had to put our little chihuahua down. I’ve been around many euthanasias because I’ve worked in this field before and this time was the worst I’ve ever seen. I thought it was normal to sedate the dog first to calm them down and relax and then do the actual euthanasia. Dr mark didn’t do that so I didn’t even get to hold him in his last moments because a tech had to hold him. My poor dog was fighting him the whole time he was trying to inject him. He had always been scared of the vet so it’s not like that was new. It was horrible and heartbreaking to watch. He also was not personable and never said a word to us when he walked in the room until he said what he was going to do. I’ve seen more caring vets at an emergency vet."
