"Opinion: Dedicated Volunteers, professional staff, an atmosphere of care & protection, Haven Humane Society has these attributes in abundance. In Shasta County their establishment is unique & a veterinary hospital cements that position. While there are numerous rescue groups devoted to particular breeds of cats & dogs, they work out of private homes."
