  "Opinion: Dr. Shackelford and Autumn helped our kitty cross the rainbow bridge as peacefully as possible last month. We had to rearrange our first scheduled appointment bc our cat perked up and gave us another wonderful week to spoil him - they were so understanding and helped us when we called back the following weekend. We scheduled a quality of life exam with anticipation that it would result in euthanasia during that appointment. The Dr was so kind and caring, answered all of our questions thoroughly and gently explained the in home euthanasia process. This was a huge loss to our family, but I am beyond thankful that my boy didn’t suffer. Thank you gentle goodbyes - we will utilize your service again when the time comes for our other fur babies."

  "Opinion: I said good bye to the love of my life a little over a week ago. If you can imagine the most annoying pet parent who spoils her dog to the point it was disgusting, that is me. This was a very emotional, heart wrenching but unavoidable situation. Really; the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Gentle goodbyes were so good. They were very quick and painless with the pokes and honored my sweet boy just as much as I did. It was the transition I needed for that moment. It is never a fun experience but the two women who helped were angels, very kind, very empathetic and allowed me to be with my sweet boy. I am very thankful for these people. Rest in peace my sweet boy."
