"Opinion: Great vet, easy to work with. They changed their pricing algorithm and now charge by the minute. I asked the vet to please move their vehicle closer to the barn and they refused. Ended up going to the vehicle 4 times and the vet bill was a trip charge, the vaccination and blood work cost plus time ended up being over 200 dollars for the visit.. total bill was well over 400 dollars, almost 500 for 2 Coggins blood draws and 4 rabies shots. I would have pre filled out paperwork, had all the animals tied in the barn, insisted on the vet parking closer. I$0027ve never paid so much money for shots and blood work. I don$0027t know what to think about all that. But I certainly would have attempted to do things differently if they$0027re charging 300 dollars an hour. I guess if you$0027re doing a medical exam and procedure I expect that kind of bill.. but for shots, that was hard to swallow."
