  "Opinion: Extremely displeased with our $250+ grooming experience. Our long haired German Shepard Husky was returned to us completely shaved (except for his paws and face) down to the skin, so much so that he now has razor burn that required us to seek veterinarian advice to help fix. We are now over a week after the incident and our dog is in extreme pain, he and we cannot sleep through the night, and he is now more susceptible to skin irritants from allergens and sunburn. We also learned after the fact that double coated dogs should NEVER be shaved down to skin unless it is severe matting/neglect (i.e., lack of grooming for 4+ years, which he was groomed less than 6 months ago by the same establishment), as this is unnatural for them and leaves them vulnerable in ways they aren’t used to being. We called to complain and were told he was “too matted to be normally groomed” which just simply isn’t the case, as I was easily able to run a brush through him prior to his visit. Workers on the phone were apologetic about the dog’s pain but did nothing to right the issue by offering any sort of refund. We will NOT be returning and will be sharing our review with everyone we know."
