  "Opinion: A funeral or memorial service is not something one hopes to plan - but inevitably we all do. We can’t thank Amundson Funeral Home enough for their care and support of our family. Phil, our primary contact, was professional, compassionate, genuine and most reverent in the care of our mother. From the moment we met him at 2:00 a.m., shortly after our mother’s passing, he held a demeanor of respect and especially kindness. His help with arrangements lightened our burden immensely. On the day of our mother’s memorial service, Mitch and Nancy continued the kindness, care, and professionalism already demonstrated by Amundson Funeral Home. We thank them for the service they provide to grieving families and our community. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience at a most difficult, vulnerable, and overly sad time."
