"We lost our black beauty of 23 years, Bella Notte, suddenly and shockingly. I went out to the barn at 6:30 am and she was already gone. The shock and despair of it all didn't stop the sudden realization that I needed to find someone- anyone to help put her body to rest. I called our farrier, every large animal vet, small animal vet, and cremation services within a hundred-mile radius, and all anyone could offer was the suggestion of renting a backhoe to bury her on the property that we are moving from. This wasn't an option for us or our precious girl. The grief and shock quickly turned to panic as it was three hours later sitting with her in the barn no closer to finding a solution. I took a chance and called a boarding stable she quickly said "Yes I know someone! Agape is wonderful!". I called Agape right away and cried relieved tears as they told me of course they can get her and cremate her even though both Virginia and NC locations were 3.5 hours away- they sent someone immediately. My gratitude to Agape for making this terrible situation end in solace is immense. Everything was handled urgently and kindly, right down to Mikey who came and picked up our girl in the most respectful and compassionate manner I have ever seen someone possess in these situations. We got our girl back within a week and the (heavy) box, nameplate, and her carefully preserved braided locks were everything we could have hoped for our girl. Thank you Agape for being there when no one else would."
"Toby was my very best friend for over 17 years. Lap of Love handled his at home euthanasia with such grace, while incredibly painful, the experience was beautiful. They work with Agape with regards to the cremation. I decided to take the drive to Siler City to pick up Toby's urn. Not only was it a lovely, scenic drive, the road and farmland leading to Agape looked almost whimsical. To know my Toby's last ride was to this place brought me so much comfort. The presentation of Toby's urn and certificate was so impressive and truly a storybook ending to the life of a wonderful pet that we had the pleasure of having around for almost 20 years. I am eternally grateful for the service provided by Agape. The greatest gift to give my Toby for his 18th birthday was his bridge to Heaven."
"My vet recommended Agape to handle the cremation of my precious little Harley. I picked him up yesterday and the package, the individual bags of the remains, paw prints, etc. was outstanding. It was very hard but it was very rewarding to know they took care of my precious one so seriously and completely. I am very very please and grateful."
