Upstate Veterinary Specialties

"The vet tech named Pedro took care of us and he was wonderful! He explained everything clearly and he was so empathetic and respectful. He will be a great veterinarian one day. We brought in a stray that we rescued because he stopped eating and drinking and UVS took great care of him."

"Disgusting practice that would rather kill my dog than charge a reasonable amount for surgery. My dog had an infected uterus. She needed a surgery that was essentially a spay that they estimated would take an hour. Because of infection, it was a bit more complicated than a standard spay, but same type of surgery. To spay my dog would have been $1500-2000. Did they charge double? No. I wish. This practice quoted me $8200-10,500 to save her life. How they can take such advantage of someone because of an emergency is unfathomable. Heartless. They obviously don't care so much about animals. RIP Willow, you were a sweet, sweet girl and we loved you."

"Full review below. TLDR; UVS is the most capable and compassionate veterinary facility in the Capital Region. They are expensive but worth every penny and I am so thankful for the life saving care they have giving my pets over the years."
