"We contacted Nevada Pet Hospice when our sweet dog's condition had deteriorated to a serious level, with no relief from the many meds and treatments provided to him. Not wishing for Duffy to suffer any longer, nor have to cope wth the usual traumatizing anxiety of a visit to a vet hospital, this was the best decision we made for his well being. From the first contact by phone with Denise, we were met with the most compassionate, understanding individuals. Dr. Toby Goldman came to our home the next morning, after contacting us twice by phone to update his arrival status. He spoke to us at length, helping us cope wth our decision and the emotions and stress of the moment. We were able to take all the time we needed and he talked us through each step of the process. Duffy was at peace for the first time in a long time before taking his last breath. As painful as this was for us, and still is, we are ever so thankful for Dr.Toby and Nevada Pet Hospice for easing us through this journey with their kindness, professionalism, and deep hearted compassion."
