"My mother passed away in July. We had dealt with Tippecanoe in the past for my grandmother and it used to be wonderful. They made my final goodbye to my mother an awful experience. They “forgot” to go by the checklist for her service and long story short her hole was not dug for her service. To top it all off they didn’t even say anything they just kept rushing me out the door. I asked Jessica aren’t we going to have the graveside service we talked about and she said no but you can come back another day and I’ll show you where she is going to be buried. I was so confused as we had discussed prior the pall bearer’s and graveside service. . My son did not get to be a pall bearer which was his grandmother’s wish due to their lack of communication. The list goes on and on Then someone reached out to me a month later and wanted to make things right. Needles to say none of that has been done to this day however they have wasted no time taking money out of my account to pay for the funeral that my brother and I planned and they didn’t follow through with. They promised me a temporary marker for my mothers grave and it still isn’t there. Yet I called and asked how long this would take and the lady told me about a week. Again my mother passed in July. My dads funeral cost $3,000 dollars less with Fisher Funeral home and his funeral was beautiful. I’m so heartbroken as I can never get this moment back and my sweet mother deserved better. Also when I went in to Discuss the issue Travis compared their mistake to a photographer not showing up on someone’s wedding day! I have tried to reach out and now they aren’t responding to me. Please don’t go here! My mother also had a $10,000 life insurance which they have already received. There is so much more but I could be here all day.If you want really good service with compassion go to Jonathan at Fisher funeral home. I will forever regret not going there for my mom. Again I was going with her wishes as she loved how Tippecanoe took care of my grandmother. Then again that was many years ago."
