"The passing of a loved one is never an easy experience to face, especially a beloved mother. It doesn’t matter of the age, you have to plan for the inevitable. Our experience with Garden Sanctuary began with a phone call from funeral director Peri Craven. Through the phone she had the ability to calm the unsettled emotions that come from the experience of a loved one passing. The next day we walked through the doors at Garden Sanctuary and met Peri. She felt like an old friend that we hadn’t seen in a while. With a warm hug and a gentle voice saying, “it’s all going to be ok”, she made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We knew immediately that we were in good hands. She made sure that all the planning of the pre-plan services were in place. She guided us in the planning of a beautiful farewell to our mother. Every detail was perfectly done. Her amazing staff showed as much compassion and kindness as Peri. We opted to have the visitation catered and the Stuff Mushroom, which out did themselves in the presentation of the foods. Peri and her staff are a rarity to find in these days that we live.
