"I called to make an appointment as I'd had to take my cat to the emergency vet a few days prior. They said they weren't accepting new patients at this time (no problem with this). I mentioned it was most likely going to be a one time visit as we'd be putting our cat to sleep. The lady on the other end of the phone asked me "why didn't you just put your cat down when you were at the emergency vet?" I told her because she's a member of the family and we were trying to do all woe could to save her life...This is without a doubt one of the most insensitive questions I've ever been asked by a vets office. If the front end staff is lacking in compassion I have to wonder how the staff providing the care feels. I'd recommend that you explore all of your options before choosing this provider..."
