The Gardens Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory

"My experience with Gardens was terrible. We took my parent's sweet baby to them for cremation. We thought they were wonderful to begin with. Thoughtful, sympathetic. All was well until we returned to pick him up. We were shown a lovely gunmetal urn, the first time, and were told that it may be bigger depending on the size of the dog. We also ordered a paw print. We received a call telling us he was ready. We drove all the way out there from Fernley, about 30 min away, to find out that the paw print wasn't ready. Why would they call and say we could come? Then we get in the truck and take the urn out of the box and it was purple! My mom was so upset. I went back in and spoke with the little old lady and told her our feelings about the urn. She told me that we get whatever they have. I told her that was not going to do. I asked for a gunmetal or blue urn, not whatever they felt like using."
