Animal Health Center of Dexter

"The doctors and staff at Animal Health Center if Dexter are probably the best I've encountered. They truly care about our fur babies and explain things very well. If I could give em 6 stars I would."

"I’ve been taking my animals here since I moved to dexter last year. One of my cats is diabetic (Trick) and another has kidney disease (Christmas - Dr. Colleen diagnosed it in November). We had a rough introduction but they were very understanding and comforting (when we first moved to dexter we had another cat - Yeti - who had diabetes and megacolon and after the move she took a turn for the worse and couldn’t use her back legs anymore - we made the hard decision to let her rest). They’ve been great with my babies and I’ll take them here as long as we live in southeast Missouri. They’ll get to meet my two younger cats soon for vaccines! Thanks for everything ❤️"

"We recently adopted a new rescue puppy and with the rescue shelter neglecting to give us some very valuable information about our new pup, we unknowingly almost killed the poor little guy. Thank God for the Animal Health Center being open first thing Saturday morning and being able to get him in immediately! They were able to diagnose, get him treated and recovering all in about 90 minutes! I was amazed! Thank you so much for saving our newest family member! He is doing great! Thank you Mark Smith and the pup whose name is now Willie Nelson. :)"
