Cremation Society of Indiana

"I called them to handle my brothers death. I filled out the paperwork online. I was told his body was on hold at IU for 24 hours for organ donation which was fine. They said they would call me when they picked him up. They never called. I called four times asking where he was and was told someone would call me back. They never called. A week later, I got a call that he is ready. I went to get him and a man asked me for my ID. I gave it to him. He came back the door with my brothers ashes, two necklaces, paper work, and my ID balanced in one hand. I almost dropped everything as he shut the door. Handed me my brother like he was trash. Zero communication or compassion."

"Amanda has been so helpful throughout this process answering any questions I had. I’m 22 and just lost my mom they made it so smooth for me and they did a great job with the private iD seeing my mom before cremation they didn’t rush us to say goodbye.thank you guys for making this so smooth for me while I grieve her❤️"

"Over all my experience was very good. Price was good and staff was very nice. My only complaint is when I returned to pick my wife up. The lady helping me called my wife of 25 years IT I found that insensitive. I understand that her ashes are not her but that is still my wife especially right now."
